Key Lime Cupcakes Recipe Video

Ingredients

  • Key Lime Cupckaes½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 package Key Lime Cake Mix

Directions

Mix vegetable oil, water, three eggs and cake mix in large bowl. Place batter in a mixer and blend together for two minutes. After blending, then place cupcake batter into a cupcake tin container. Place in oven and bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 24 cupcakes.

Wilton Buttercream Icing

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vegetable shortening
  • 2 tablespoons of water or milk for thick consistency
  • 3 tablespoons of water or milk for medium consistency
  • 4 tablespoons of water or milk for thin consistency
  • 1 teaspoon of clear vanilla
  • 1 pound confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of merengue powder

Directions

Cream the liquids first, then add dry ingredients.
